The statue of perhaps the greatest Brit ever to live, Sir Winston Churchill, has been vandalised today.

The statue located in the heart of Westminster, where today’s Black Lives Matter protest is taking place, has been vandalised on the 76th Anniversary of D-Day. Absolutely sickening.

Police Liaison Officers are shown insisting that they didn’t see who did it.

Officers are now guarding the statue – albeit after it has already been defaced.

The clip has already sparked outrage on Twitter. Actor Laurence Fox has said: “Dear the mob. You see those two things vanishing off into the distance at great speed? They’re called solidarity and good will.”

This comes after police were attacked and there was vandalism in Whitehall earlier in the week.

Young soldiers were berated as they cleaned up the Earl Haig statue.
