Yesterday the UK government took the decision to exempt migrant healthcare and care workers from the NHS surcharge.
A poll out yesterday showed that a majority of the British public think migrants working in social care should be exempt from the NHS surcharge.
However, polling by YouGov also revealed that 62% of the public support charging migrants more widely to use the National Health Service.
That includes 85% of Leave voters, 84% of Conservative voters and 50% of Labour voters.
